Ko’olau Driver’s Ed is designed to develop a student's fundamental driving skills and
essential driving knowledge, emphasizing on skill, obeying all traffic laws, parking, and seat belt usage and driving on all roadways. Our goal is to instill proper attitudes, efficient driving habits, as well as an awareness of moral and legal driving responsibilities. Ko’olau Driver’s Ed gives the students the foundation to make informed decisions, while helping them to develop a proper attitude toward the roadways and creating safer roads for all users.
As of January 1, 2001, any person under the age of 18 wishing to obtain a driver’s license MUST complete the following:
*30 Hour Classroom Driving Education Course
*6-Hour Behind the Wheel Training Course
*Perform 50 hours of driving with someone over 18 years old who carries a valid driver’s license.
Our Classroom Certification Classes are held virtually on Saturdays OR Sundays only for 6 weeks.
