Online Rules and Expectations - Ko'olau Drivers Ed

ONLINE RULES AND EXPECTATIONS
Student must log on using their legal name
Student is allowed to use a laptop, desktop or tablet as along as it has a working webcam.
Student is NOT allowed to use a school administered computer. We have noticed that some schools block outside entry.
Student will receive one warning. After the initial warning, student will be asked to leave and retake the class.
NO sleeping in class.
NO inactivity (i.e. eyes wondering, distracted)
NO cell phone use during class.
Student must attend class in an upright, seated position, in an appropriate setting away from distractions.
Camera must remain on for the duration of class
Student must be visible from the shoulders up
Student must sign in and out at the beginning and end of each class to receive credit
If a student is not visible to the instructor, he/she will be marked absent
Student must request permission if leaving the class or they will be dismissed from class and will have to retake it in the next session.
Student must be appropriately dressed, NO caps, hats of any sort, sports bra or bikini tops, etc..
Must bring instruments to take notes
Must complete work assignments
Must pass Final test with 85% or above (43 out of 50 correct) to receive the Certificate of Completion
